Our next Volunteer Orientation will be Saturday, April 26th from 1-3pm at our facility in Ellington, CT. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to regular volunteer hours on a weekly or biweekly basis, with the most need on weekday evenings. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but any volunteers under aged 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian for both orientation and their regular volunteer hours

Calling all candle lovers! Sunny Sky Candles @sunnyskycandles has developed a gorgeous line of pick-and-choose candles in lovely scents just for Everybunny Counts!

You get to choose a your candle size with Spring Bunnies or Sunflower embedded designs, in one of six fresh scents. Sweeten your space and light up the workd a little with a candle gift for graduation, Mother’s Day, or just as a treat for yourself. A portion of proceeds will go directly to the feeding, housing, and veterinary needs of our rescue bunnies. Get yours today for pickup at our facility in Ellington on Saturday, May 3rd. We are wishing the HAPPIEST of birthdays to our am

We are wishing the HAPPIEST of birthdays to our amazing president Becky!

Becky started out as a volunteer in 2016 and quickly became a valued member of Everybunny Counts. Over the years she became skilled at facilitating adoptions, bonding bunnies, and rabbit care and grooming. When our former president stepped down in 2022, Becky took over in order to keep the rescue that she felt so passionate about running. Since then she has worked tirelessly to make EBC a phenomenal organization. We have a beautiful facility, have rescued hundreds of rabbits, and built a wonderful community of fellow bunny enthusiasts.

Becky is a lover of all creatures great and small (as you can see in the photos!) and would rescue every single pet in need if she could! She holds a special place in her heart for bunnies who need some extra TLC and has spent countless hours nursing them back to health. Whether it's a litter of tiny newborns or a feisty senior bun, it is easy to see that every animal who comes into her care feels safe and loved.

Outside of operating EBC (which is a full time job in itself!), Becky is a middle school band teacher and is adored by her students. She is also a certified sound healer with many spiritual gifts! Becky is always willing to lend a listening ear, offer advice, and makes everyone feel welcome. And if we do say so ourselves, she is a phenomenal friend!

Becky gives so much of her time and energy to all of her endeavors but especially our rescue. We are so very thankful for her and look forward to saving bunnies together for years to come. However for now, we wish Becky an amazing birthday and a well-deserved vacation week!

Light up a room and freshen your space! Local candle-maker and bunny enthusiast Christine of Sunny Sky Candles @sunnyskycandles is joining forces with us on a gorgeous line of “build your own” candles selected especially for Everybunny Counts

Candles are available in small or large sizes with an embedded sunflower or bunnies design and come in any of six different scents. Candles will be available for local pickup only at our rescue in Ellington on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10am-2pm
